Your Perfect Day at Sea
Everything you need to know about renting a boat in Cyprus — from booking to boarding and beyond.
How to Book a Boat
From search to sailing in just a few steps
Search & Filter
Browse boats by location (Limassol, Paphos, Ayia Napa, Protaras, or Latchi), boat type, date, number of guests, and budget. Use our interactive map to find boats near you. Or browse curated experiences like Blue Lagoon trips and sunset cruises.
Compare & Choose
Read reviews from other guests, compare prices for different durations (1h to 8h), check included amenities, and view the captain's profile. Look at the fuel policy — some boats include fuel, others charge extra.
Pick Your Date & Time
Select your preferred date and departure time from the available slots. Choose how long you want to be on the water. Most tourists pick 3-4 hour trips, but shorter 1-2 hour sunset cruises are also popular.
Book & Pay Securely
Book instantly or send a request to the host. Pay securely with your credit card via Stripe. Your payment is held safely — it's only released to the host after the trip begins. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.
Chat with Your Host
After booking, use our messaging system to coordinate with your host. Ask about meeting points, what to bring, or any special requests. Most hosts are locals who love sharing their knowledge of the Cyprus coast.
What to Bring
Pack smart for the perfect day on the water
Essentials
- Sunscreen (SPF 50+ recommended — the Cyprus sun is strong)
- Swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes
- Plenty of water — at least 1.5L per person
- Boating license (if required — check the listing)
- Phone/camera in a waterproof case
- Sunglasses with a strap (so they don't end up in the sea)
- Hat or cap for sun protection
Nice to Have
- Snorkeling mask and fins (some boats provide these)
- Snacks, fruit, and light food for the trip
- Biodegradable soap/shampoo if swimming
- GoPro or action camera for underwater shots
- Cash for fuel (if fuel is not included)
- Light jacket for wind — even in summer evenings
- Lip balm with SPF (lips burn fast at sea)
Safety on the Water
Your safety is our top priority — here's what you need to know
Always Wear a Life Jacket
Life jackets are provided on every boat. Wear one at all times, especially if you're not a confident swimmer. Make sure children always have their life jacket on.
Listen to the Safety Briefing
Your host will give you a safety briefing before departure. Pay attention — they'll show you the location of safety equipment, explain the radio, and cover emergency procedures.
Watch the Weather
Cyprus enjoys 320+ sunny days per year, but conditions can change. If the weather looks bad, your host may offer to reschedule. Never insist on going out in rough seas.
Stay Hydrated
The combination of sun, wind, and salt water dehydrates you faster than you think. Drink water regularly, even if you don't feel thirsty. Limit alcohol consumption while on the water.
Emergency Contacts
Keep your phone charged and in a waterproof case. Cyprus Coast Guard: 1441. European emergency: 112. Save your host's phone number before departure.
Know the Rules
Stay within designated swimming and boating areas. Keep a safe distance from other boats, swimmers, and the shore. If you're driving the boat, respect speed limits in harbors.
